1. General Provisions

  1. This Privacy Policy defines the principles of processing and protection of personal data provided by users in connection with the use of the website of the OTUS Accounting and Tax Office.

2. Scope and purpose of data processing

  1. Personal data are collected during:
    • using the inquiry form (e.g. name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number),
    • cookies that save information about the user’s activity on the website.
  2. Data are processed for the purposes of:
    • handling inquiries and return contact,
    • providing accounting services at the client’s request,
    • analyzing and improving the functionality of the website,
    • fulfilling obligations arising from legal regulations (e.g. accounting, taxes).

3. Legal basis for processing

  1. Personal data are processed on the basis of:
    • Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a) a GDPR – user consent (query form),
    • Art. 6 sec. 1 letter b GDPR – performance of a contract or taking action before entering into a contract,
    • Art. 6 sec. 1 letter c GDPR – fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the administrator,
    • Art. 6 sec. 1 letter f GDPR – legitimate interests of the administrator (e.g. improving the functionality of the website).

4. Cookies

  1. The website uses cookies to:
    • ensure its correct operation,
    • analyze traffic on the website (Google Analytics or similar tools).
  2. The user can change the browser settings regarding the use of cookies. Disabling cookies may, however, affect the functioning of the website.

5. Data recipients

  1. Personal data may be made available to entities supporting the administrator, such as:

    • data from the inquiry form – for the time of handling the inquiry and any further actions,
    • data resulting from cookies – in accordance with the periods indicated in the cookie settings.
  2. After the required period, the data is deleted or anonymized.

7. User rights

  1. The user has the right to:
    • access their data and receive a copy thereof,
    • correct incorrect or outdated data,
    • request deletion of data (right to be forgotten),
    • limit data processing,
    • transfer data to another administrator,
    • object to data processing,
    • withdraw consent at any time (if processing is based on consent),
    • file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  2. In order to exercise their rights, the user may contact the data administrator.

8. Final Provisions

  1. The Administrator reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy in the event of a change in legal regulations or an update of the site’s functionality.
  2. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Accounting Office’s website.
